I live in an apartment so I cannot place regular rods. This device is great because it fits well, and doesn't slip. It has two bars, so you can put up shears. I'm really pleased with it. Putting it together is easy, but you may need help putting it up, just to get the right length.

This rod would have been the perfect solution for my sliding patio doors in my guest room had it stayed up and not bowed in the opening. The rod was very light weight and the "sticky" things on the rod pulled the paint off my wall. I went out and found a better rod for less than half the price and don't recommend this rod.
