This brewer is very good for its price, the thing that i like is that it brews pretty hot, and also the fact of its super small size so it doesn't take up much space on the counter.

I gave this item to my wife as a gift. She loves the machine and some of the available flavors of the coffee. She is a person that drinks 1 cup of decaf every night, and from time to time and extra one but no more. She didn't like the taste instant cofees and in order to use those you need another method to heat the water, meaning more dishes to wash.

Positive points.

1. Less cleaning, you pretty much have to clean the cup that you are using and the pod, that is it. No coffee or water pot.
2. Size, it will fit a regular size cup (which for us is enough) of cofee like other reviews state you can't really use a tall or big cup. The machine is also not too tall so you can place it under your kitchen cabinets and still have enough space to fill it with water without pulling it out (like other senseo compatible machines).
3. Timing, it takes about a minute and a half and 2 minutes to make a single cup of cofee, I have found that if you place 'warm' water instead of cold in the machine it will reduce the time it takes to brew.
4. Price of the machine and pods, compared to similar products.
5. Easy operation. Just place pod or pods, water, and press the start button.

Negative points.

1. If you like 'really strong' coffee you will need to either use 2 pods per brew to achive your goal or What I recommend is to buy a refillable pods and grind your own coffee.
2. There is no 'safety' feature meaning that if you take your cup before the process finishes you WILL have a spill. (My dad couldn't wait the last 30 seconds of the process)

I got this One Cup brewer for my mother in law for Christmas. She was always brewing and entire 12-cup pot of coffee just to drink one cup and let the rest sit on the counter for weeks! It does not come with the cup like it looks like in the picture, and they neglect to tell you this anywhere on the page. Most any coffee mug will fit, but if the cup is too small you'll get coffee splatter all over the counter tops. The pod tray is cheep and tends to stick and jam unless you slide it in perfectly.

I like that you can get Senseo and Godiva pods for pretty cheep on Amazon.com. My MIL says the coffee is great, but she also enjoys boxed wine and instant-stir coffee so I wouldn't trust her judgement. My husband says it's not all that wonderful.

BUT, for $20 you really can't complain...
