I bought this board a little over a year ago here on Amazon. From day one it had problems recognizing USB devices, all of which were new / modern on my system. Typically, the board would hang on startup intermittently with the POST LED display indicating it was stuck on initializing the subsystem that runs USB.
I went through extensive diagnoses and multiple bios upgrades, as well as trying minimal USB config, and got it to where it would boot with only a few minutes delay.
Intel customer support were only avialable via chat and weere extremely unhelpful with any information that is not in the manuals.
If you google "dp55kg usb" you will see I am not the only person with those problems.
And yes, i did all the stuff you read about with disabling sleep, etc.
Anyway, yesterday the box just stopped working while sitting idle and would hang on POST code 16 (more bios init).
This left me unable to even try updating the BIOS.
Furthermore, even Intel's crappy offshore chat support is either offline or shut down, which is perhaps a blessing in the sense that it would have just wasted more of my time.
I went down to the local electronics store and bought a new $70 Asus board that works fine and has none of these problems, throwing the dp55kg in the trash.
FYI, this is my second buggy Intel board in a row (the previous being a DX975xbx), so i am done with Intel boards.

Tarjeta excelente, la verdad que aunque el bus de transferencia entre la PciE y el Cpu es pequeño es totalmente invisible a la vista, el overlock la verdad no podria decir si efectivamente la mejora ya que en mis pruebas con las aplicaciones y procesos que hago funcionan exactamente igual, la temperatura siempre esta en los mismos grados con overlock o normal, asi que adicionalemente el diseño de la calavera le da un toque especial, el bluetooht no lo encontre muy amigable deberian mejorar eso.
Excellent card, the truth that although the bus transfer between the PCIe and the CPU is small is completely invisible to the eye, the truth overlock could not say whether or not the better because in my tests with applications and processes that do work exactly the same, the temperature is always in the same grades with overlock or normal, so that additionally the skull design gives a special touch, bluetooht not found it very friendly should improve that.

I used this board for a new build with Intel recommended memory and a i5 750 cpu. It fired up the first try and I have experienced no hardware problems in the ensuing weeks since build day. There are however some other little issues with drivers and the fancy skull themed desktop control center. I do not intend to overclock this board and did not buy the board because of the Intel Desktop Control Center, but there are problems with this feature and they are well documented on the Intel forums. The six internal SATA and 2 ESATA ports plug parallel to the board which makes for awkward and sometimes very difficult cable plugging; but on the bright side, the board comes with a lifetime supply of SATA cables. (If using a small case, you might require right angle SATA cables.)
I followed Intel's installation sequence closely as far as post hardware installation of drivers and firmware, but had a heck of a time getting the entitled Dolby code loaded and "playing nice" with the default sound drivers. From what I read on the Intel Forums regarding the Dolby Software, its function is only appreciated when using the digital audio output (toslink/SPDIF) port to a surround sound system which has an official "Dolby" tag. According to author of a post on the forum, if the surround sound system isn't cetrified for Dolby, it will not produce true Dolby surround sound...not a big deal for me, but just so you know to do your own research.
All in all thjough, I am happy with the board, and so far have been able to utilize the wonderful Intel Support Site to resolve the inevitable issues. (now if they could just fix my skull thingie...)
